Polsham Promotions have announced that a woman who provided backing vocals for Elton many years ago will be appearing in The Chris Farlowe and Friends concert at the Princess Theatre, Torquay, on Saturday, November 29.
A subject of this Web site's Herman's Habits, Madeline Bell, along with singer-songwriter Roger Cook, became a central part of the group Blue Mink.
She has gone on to contribute to soundtracks of flicks such as A Touch of Class and The Greek Tycoon.
In 2003 the singer was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Music Heritage Foundation.
Prior to her visit to Torquay, Bell will be appearing at Ronnie Scott's club in London from May 8 to 10.
