Elton's Connection to a Hotel Magnate

Earlier this year, a South African hotel and gambling honcho joined Elton, David Furnish and Annie Lennox at the EJAF's One&Only fundraiser in Cape Town.

They posed for a photograph Elton later purchased. It was snapped by Mikhael Subotzky and donated by Goodman Gallery.

More recently, Sol Kerzner celebrated his 75th birthday in St Tropez, where Elton has been vacationing.

Sol's guests were expected to include names like Elton and Ivana Trump.
