Elton and his partner have already hosted a party before the EJAF's big one this weekend.
It was held at the newly-opened Soho House, which Sir Elton explained to the Daily Mail, had hastily been completed that morning.
He pointed to his apartment building through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls that wrapped around the penthouse floor.
''Mind you, if I could see what they were doing through my windows I hope they couldn't see what I was doing in my apartment,'' he joked.
The gathering, which attracted the likes of Dustin Hoffman and Madonna, was sponsored by Grey Goose and Recording Artists Against Drunk Driving.
