As previously announced, a woman who recorded with Elton has passed on.
Lesley Duncan, who was 66 years old, had been battling cerebrovascular disease for five years.
Born in Stockton-on-Tees in northeast England, Duncan's music career began in the '60s when she moved to London.
In 1970, Elton performed a duet with Lesley of her track Love Song on his Tumbleweed Connection album. Her version of the song appeared on the album Sing Children Sing, which her husband, producer Tony Cox, said was playing as she died in a hospital near her home in Tobermory, Scotland.
The funeral is to be held on Friday, March 19.
