Elton has called his late keyboard player, Guy Babylon, one of the greatest musicians he has seen.
He is also an admirer of Guy's son, Ben, a teenaged performer and songwriter.
Ben is currently working on his debut album, and is being assisted by some major names.
They include EJ bandmates Bob Birch, John Mahon, Nigel Olsson and Davey Johnstone.

The journal reports that Claude Hoarau, the mayor of St Louis, Reunion, has invited Elton to play the island.
Details have yet to be confirmed, but the date for the concert is December 15.
