Last night, Elton (seen in a couple of photos, below) gave his first concert in Peru and was cheered by thousands at Lima's National Stadium.

Elton opened the show with Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting).


Other numbers included Crocodile Rock, Bennie and the Jets, and Nikita.


Elton was greeted at the event by Peru's first lady Nadine Heredia, who presented him with a tee shirt bearing the country's logo.
