eltonjohnworld.com was set up by two former managers of the Hercules website who resigned in 2001 to concentrate on what they considered a new, dynamic way to serve fellow fans better and to also encourage them to express their fandom.

George founded eltonjohnworld.com with Fran in March 2002.
George has been a professional journalist since 1990, and worked in public relations.
George has since 2004 worked in Polish radio in London. In 2006 George launched his own Anglo-Polish radio station Radio

Fran is the web administrator and the technical brains behind the sophisticated EJW.com website.She is based in Belgium.

Cheryl is Chief Editor of EJW.com.
Previously the Web site's U.S. editor and 'Herman's Habits' columnist, she now runs the related Elton John World News Letter.
