Hicks And Crow Consider Elton An Inspiration

Friday 27 January 2006 @ 17:19 - GMT

The Capital Gold Web site currently has an interview with The Hollies' guitarist, Tony Hicks.

Subjects range from working with Elton many years ago to the group's latest album, and this chat can be heard at

http://www.capitalgold.com/.

Over in the U.S., another EJ admirer is Sheryl Crow, who is performing at 7:30 p.m. January 29 and 30th at Nashville's former home of the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium.

The liner notes of her Wildflower cd thank the entertainer for his ''great inspiration'' and one song, Always on Your Side borrows from Someone Saved My Life Tonight with the line ''Butterflies are free to fly.''
