Rock Flick to be Released in More Forms

Monday 20 March 2006 @ 16:22 - GMT

Sanctuary Visual Entertainment's successful mid-line DVD range will receive a significant boost in two months, when Born To Boogie The Motion Picture; #1 music DVD from the summer of 2005, is released as a single disc DVD.

Fans will be thrilled to learn that for the competitive price point of just £9.99 RRP, they can enjoy over two hours of T. Rex at their most exciting, not to mention guest stars like Elton and Ringo Starr.  The single Disc DVD retains the 5.1 audio restoration and mix from legendary producer Tony Visconti, T. Rex producer, and as with last year's 2-Disc DVD set, all elements have been fully re-mastered in HD from the original colour camera negative.

Directed by Ringo, the epic 1972 picture, Born To Boogie, was originally shown at cinemas on both sides of the Atlantic.  Thirty years later, thanks to cutting edge production techniques, T. Rex and Marc Bolan have enjoyed something of a revival.  Even fans at the forefront of gadgets and new technology will have a chance to revisit 1972, as Born To Boogie the UMD (for the PlayStation Portable), lines up alongside the single Disc DVD for release on the 15th of May, retailing at £12.99.
