Three music veterans have formed a new company, the Nashville Business Journal has announced.
The Trifectone Music Group is comprised of Joe Chemay, Ed Seay and Biff Watson, and already they have landed a deal to compose and produce music for Bob Kingsley's syndicated radio show, Country Top 40. Their aim is to write and produce for ''everything from pop and country to orchestral settings,'' says Joe, a bassist and singer who contributed backing vocals to 21 at 33 and Blue Moves.
Although a session man for three decades, Joe did a 1980 solo album, which was re-released in Japan several years ago. And another cd is planned soon.
As for the other players in Trifectone, Biff has performed on albums by Tim McGraw, Shania Twain and Keith Urban, while Ed has worked as a producer and engineer for Martina McBride and John Prine.
