Rolling Stone magazine plans to release its entire printed history on DVD to mark its 40th anniversary.
It will be called, Rolling Stone Cover-to-Cover: The First 40 Years, and will cost $119.99 (£59.89).
Fans will be able to search for every article, photograph and review that has ever appeared in print, including material on Elton.
Three 40th anniversary issues will be published which include interviews with notables such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger.
The publication was started in 1967 by Jann Wenner, who is still at the helm.
Although primarily known for music, it also covers politics and culture.
