Carlisle's Warwick Road stadium put on its biggest ever pop concert when Elton sang in front of almost 20,000 fans over the weekend.
So Brunton Park bosses are confident that other big names will follow.
Tom Johnstone, Carlisle United's marketing manager, told the News & Star as much, adding that it depends, of course, on who is touring and what their availability is.
He also discussed Elton, saying the legend arrived at the ground by helicopter at 3:45 p.m.
''He asked to borrow the Sky TV card so he could watch some sport before he went on stage. I didn't get to meet him as I was told he is quite a private person, and as soon as the gig was over, he flew back to Newcastle Airport to catch his plane.''
Florist Alison Routledge of Vandella also played a part in making Elton comfortable.
She provided displays of white roses, geraniums and gerberas, among other floral varieties, and said she had never had an assignment quite like this before.
Guests in the two gold and diamond hospitality marquees at the ground also had their needs taken care of, enjoying fish, steak, cheesecake and a cheeseboard, all washed down with champagne.
