Two-time Tony Award nominee, Carolee Carmello, now in Mamma Mia! at New York's Winter Garden Theatre, will receive one of the theater's most coveted honors when her portrait is hung on the legendary walls of Sardi's Restaurant today at 6 p.m.

Carolee made her Broadway debut in 1989's City of Angels and has appeared in nine Broadway musicals, garnering Tony nominations for her roles in Jason Robert Brown's  Parade and Elton and Bernie Taupin's Lestat.

She first joined the Broadway cast of Mamma Mia! during the 2004-2005 season, and returned to her starring role in 2006 following a performing hiatus.

Seen by over 40 million people around the world, the production is celebrating over 3,000 performances in its eighth smash hit year at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre.
