Internet lingerie retailer Bare Necessities today announced a partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to raise money through sales of bras and lingerie to support breast cancer research.
As a Corporate Alliance Partner of BCRF, Bare Necessities has agreed to donate a minimum of $10,000 to the charity in 2011. Bare Necessities donated over $16,000 last year by making a contribution for every bra sold during the month of October, and the company plans to exceed that figure through various online campaigns in 2011.
What's more, to launch the latest partnership and help raise awareness for BCRF, Bare Necessities will give one Facebook fan two tickets to an exclusive concert performance by Elton and Sting at BCRF's annual Hot Pink Party fundraiser on April 14. As this Web site has reported previously, the event is being held at New York's Waldorf-Astoria.
