The Maidenhead Advertiser has reported on an impromptu Kiki Dee performance at Boulters Lock.
She was in town for Saturday's wedding of record producer Stuart Epps, who married Juliet Gough, a singer/songwriter from Denmark, at Holy Trinity Church in Cookham.
Stuart, who works from his Cookham Mill studio in Mill Lane, is known for collaborating with acts such as Elton, Robbie Williams and Oasis.
At the reception, Kiki sang her 1976 number one duet, Don't Go Breaking My Heart, with an EJ tribute act.
Paul Bacon, of Ultimate Elton, said that performing the hit with the songstress, who also did I've Got The Music In Me, was 'a dream come true' and a highlight of his career.
He remarked: "I actually sat next to Kiki at the wedding reception as 'myself,' and she had no idea that I was going to perform later as 'Elton.' I really didn't know how she was going to react when I went away and reappeared as Elton and I certainly didn't presume that she would actually sing with me."
