Rupert Holmes and Paul Williams will perform in Rockers on Broadway Behind the Music at the newly re-designed Cutting Room (at 44 East 32nd Street in New York City) on Monday, October 15. Both men have also been named as the evening's lifetime achievement honorees.

This latest edition of Broadway's Rock and Roll concert series honours the crossover talents of songwriters who have written chart topping hits as well as musicals for theater, film and television. So the evening will feature a line-up of rock stars and Broadway performers singing tunes written by pop and rock and roll luminaries including Elton, Billy Joel, Duncan Sheik and Pete Townshend.

A tribute  to the late Marvin Hamlisch is also on the agenda.

Proceeds will benefit the ASCAP Foundation's Children Will Listen Program, the Broadway Dreams Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
