When he was in Atlanta last fall, Sir Elton John carefully alluded to a new Disney project he was composing music for. This week, Disney has partially lifted the veil on an animated feature that sounds remarkably like the flick John was trying his best not to describe.
The Southern-fried feature, "My Peoples," will use the vocal talents of CNN's James Carville, Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, Lou Rawls and Paulding County resident Travis Tritt.
The tentatively titled 'toon is being described as "an Appalachian tale with bluegrass music with characters that are toys made of found objects such as buttons, plates and pens." It's being readied for a 2005 release.
