Elton told a British television audience that his latest Out The Closet clothes sale would take place from December 4, 2002, at a store in Regent's Street, London.
It would mark the fourth time that Elton has held a sale of his and partner David Furnish's clothes to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The first store was opened in November 1994 in Fulham Road, London, followed in November 1998 by one in London's Dover Street and another in November 2000 in Bond Street. One sale was also held at Niemen Marcus store in Atlanta, USA, in 1996.
Elton also told the show, Liquid News, on BBC 1, and shown earlier in the evening of November 25, 2002 on BBC Choice, that his stage musical version of film Billy Elliott would likely open in the UK in the spring of 2004.
