Elton and Blue's duet version of Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word is toppled from the prestigious number one slot in the official UK singles charts.

The song, originally released by Elton in 1976, falls to number 4 as new toyband Girls Aloud takes the crown in the Christmas charts announced just this minute December 22, 2002.EltonandBluemissChristmasn

Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word entered the UK charts at number one on December 15, 2002 and held on for just one week, handing Elton his first UK number one since his duet with George Michael on Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me in November 1991.
