Christmasstocking-fillers  Elton's cover version of The Show Must Go On - a tribute to the late Freddie Mercury - was included on the Queen CD, titled Greatest Hits Vol. 3. The album released November 9, 1999.

Christmasstocking-fillers  Rosie O'Donnell has produced a seasonal album, A Rosie Christmas, featuring duet with Elton (White Christmas), Billy Joel (Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas), and others.

Released by Columbia Records November 2, 1999. The ABC Television Network will air an hour-long A Rosie Christmas holiday special on December 5, 1999. Proceeds from the album will be donated to the For All Kids Foundation, founded by Rosie.

Christmasstocking-fillers  The 10th Anniversary Commemorative Edition of For Our Children released October 19, 1999. The album - benefiting the Elizabeth Glazier Paediatric AIDS Foundation - contains the track The Pacifier by Elton, as well as songs by other artists. The song was on an earlier CD from the Disney series in 1993.

Christmasstocking-fillers  The official Elton John Aids Foundation Christmas Cards for 1999 are available. They are available in two designs. Cards come in packs of 8 with snowflake envelopes, and are 15 cm x 15 cm.

 

Christmasstocking-fillers  The 2nd annual gathering of the world's reigning vocal divas, known as VH1 DIVAS LIVE 99 - this year starring Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Elton, Brandy, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, and Chaka Khan - was scheduled for November 2, 1999, release on Arista (07822-14604-2). The CD/Cassette/Video contains The Bitch Is Back and Proud Mary performed by Elton and Tina Turner, as well as Elton's I'm Still Standing performance plus 10 more tracks.

 

Christmasstocking-fillers  Sting's guitarist, Dominic Miller, has recorded a instrumental version of The Last Song for his solo album, Second Nature, released at the end of October 1999.
