Dear eltonjohnworld globetrotters!
Some of you have already enquired about the for-charity Lunch Around the World event we are having in south west London on July 3, 2004.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and the venue itself has agreed to make an appreciated contribution for each of you who come along for the meal and fun. www.eltonjohn.com has kindly publicised this event already for which we are grateful.
For those who havent enquired yet, now is a good time to drop us a note to add you to a special mailing list for this event only.
LATEST EVENT NEWS:
We are pleased to announce that performer Jonathan Kane, known as John Elton will be helping to get us into the concert mood with an impromptu performance next to the karaoke machine for this 3-hour lunch.
Organiser George Matlock says: I have seen a lot of Elton look-a-likes in my time, and that varies from the perfect to the nearly-unbearable. But Jonathan Kane is definitely up there with the best. He looks like Elton down to his colt tooth and he sings younger and older Elton voices to fit the songs. He is also a truly affable entertainer and enjoys meeting the fans. Just like Elton himself!
We also invite you to bring along any collectables you might like, to showcase to fellow fans. And we plan a lottery draw for some gifts again proceeds to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Further guest line-up to be confirmed.
