Thanks to the many of you who have already emailed to reserve places for the Lunch Around the World event which Elton Events will host in London on July 3, ahead of Elton's Wembley Arena concert that evening.
Even with the short period of publicity we are pleased that you are interested in a fun event which benefits the Elton John Aids Foundation.
Anyone emailing after that will be treated the same way as late comers to the venue - we will gladly accommodate you if we have places left!
Anyone who has reserved but has not shown up at the venue by 1230pm on the day of the event will lose their reservation and whoever is first in the queue at the venue will be assigned the seats, according to availability. So it is advisable to arrive on time.
You will already know the event takes place at an Asian noodle bar in Mortlake, London, from midday to 3pm. We will have Jonathan Kane to entertain you - perhaps the finest Elton impersonator we have ever heard! He has a knack for playing early Elton and later Elton voices - superb!
We will also have an auction of Elton items. The price of Lunch Around the World is £15 and includes a noodle meal, karaoke entertainment and a chance to meet fellow fans before Elton's gigs in London. We may also have other special guests and work is underway for that.
Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Pay at the door when you arrive, by sterling CASH. We will also accept euros or US dollars at the event, but prefer sterling. Cash Only. No cheques or credit cards this event. If paying by euro - the price is: EUR 25. If paying by US dollars, the price is: US$30. Please avoid bringing coins if you can.
Here is a map to help you. Also read the links at the foot of this page for transport tips.Car parking is restricted in the area. There is limited parking in supermarkets nearby to the east of the venue. Click on this link:
