The Larry Gagosian Gallery's latest highly anticipated pre-Oscars opening attracted names like Elton, Jonah Hill, Ed Ruscha, Bret Easton Ellis, and Sharon Stone.
On display were works by New York–based artist Joe Bradley.
The show is called Eric's Hair. It merges cultural references and engagements with the tradition and aesthetics of paint on canvas that are both ironic and earnest.
A mid-career survey of Bradley's work is scheduled at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York, in June, which will subsequently travel to the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
After viewing Eric's Hair, some of the attendees had dinner down the road at Mr. Chow.
