Sir Elton's artist management and music company recently announced a joint venture with Black Fox Management.
The partnership sees Rocket Music, which represents the likes of Elton, Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie and 2Cellos, add Rag’N’Bone Man to their roster. His debut album Human has now sold 2 million copies worldwide.
As well as Rag’N’Bone Man, Black Fox's management roster includes Ghostwriter and Balcony. Previous clients include Bastille.
Rocket Music’s CEO Julian Wright told Music Week: “We are in a unique position at Rocket. Elton’s career has spanned 50 years of recording and touring and has seen sales of over 250 million albums. That brings a great deal of experience and infrastructure to our organisation but Elton’s passion for new and talented artists and their music remains at the forefront. We are very pleased to welcome Black Fox Management and their artists into the family.”
Black Fox’s Josh Smith remarked: “When we decided to look for a partner to develop our business further, Rocket were top of our list. Elton has been hugely supportive of Rag’N’Bone Man’s career for a long time and when we met with the broader team at Rocket we all just instantly clicked.”
