The Elton John AIDS Foundation is grateful to longtime supporter, Lawrence Wosskow.
He has nominated the EJAF as one of the beneficiary charities for his newly published memoir Little Chef, Heart of the Deal. It tells the story of Lawrence’s hugely eventful and colourful life and his work as a philanthropist.
The EJAF says the book ''is not only a great read for Christmas – buying a copy will help us save more lives and get closer to an AIDS-free future.''
All royalties go to charitable endeavours. They include Elton's AIDS foundation as well as a UK children's charity, Dreamflight.
Elton says that one of the nicest days he ever spent was with the business entrepreneur and his ''wonderful family.''
In related news, this holiday season, you can make a difference in the lives of millions of people living with HIV/AIDS. The EJAF's friends Andy Knight and Beau Gratzer are matching up to $75,000 in donations to the philanthrophy – which means every dollar you donate will have double the impact in the effort to end AIDS.
