Pop Luminary Contributes to One Drop Auction

Created in 2007 by Cirque du Soleil’s founder, Guy Laliberté, One Drop is proud to be celebrating over 10 years of providing access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. With a clear objective of delivering long-term impact and sustainability, One Drop finances safe water access projects while bringing its unique 'Social Art for Behavior Change' approach to promote healthy behaviors around safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

One Drop has raised over $120 million to help improve access to safe water, and is on the way of helping transform the lives of more than 1 million beneficiaries around the world. There's now a Charitybuzz.com auction, part of their annual flagship fundraising event One Night for One Drop, a one-night only production imagined by Cirque du Soleil and inspired by the life story of Grammy-nominated artist Jewel. The event will take place on March 2, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

As for the auction, the offerings include a chance to met Criss Angel; take part in a private wine tasting; or own a pair of circular framed sunglasses once owned by Sir Elton. 

 
There are donated by the Rocket Man himself, and designed by Italian brand Miu Miu.

The frames are a pale metallic green, with delicate gold arms embossed with the Miu Miu logo at the temple, and green temple tips. The glasses come with a dusky pink velvet Miu Miu case with a a cleaning cloth and care leaflet, and a signed compliment slip from Elton himself.
