Rocker Hopes ''AGT'' Vocalist Will Join Him Onstage

Written by Chief Editor.

As recently reported, a man who spent decades in jail for a crime he didn't commit--before being helped by the Innocence Project--sang one of Elton's hits on America's Got Talent.

Archie Williams got a call afterwards from the songwriter himself. Elton told him it was the best performance he'd seen of one of his songs. He invited Archie to one of his U.S. shows (once they are rescheduled). Elton also told Archie he'd be welcome to perform the number, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

The New Orleans resident says he's always been an EJ fan. But Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me stood out because it fit his life.

It ''was speaking to my heart. I saw my life in that song,'' he explains.
